A Farm To Table Experience

Our Philosophy

Come enjoy our cozy & quaint, 1700’s tavern with very large outdoor dining spaces. We take pride in sourcing our meats and produce from local farmer’s markets & growers in our community, as well as using local craft beer brewers & spirits to produce our hand crafted cocktails.

We change our menu frequently and create dishes that showcase fruits and vegetables that are fresh and in season. The Rye Garden provides us with produce that is harvested just steps away from the restaurant. We also have cultivated long lasting relationships with local farms.

Rye Garden is located 50 feet from the Rye Tavern kitchen. It provides Executive Chef Drew Garneau plenty to work with. Established in 2011, in the Rye Garden we do plenty of succession planting to provide a steady stream of tender greens throughout the growing season. We also grow a variety of cherry tomatoes, herbs, lettuces, peas, carrots. beans, edible flowers and more. You can’t get more fresh and local than that! More than just Farm to Table, you can actually see our farm FROM your table!

  • 5 star review  A historical experience for sure! The atmosphere was cozy yet very comfortable and casual. We were met with attentive service and beautiful food. The Chowder was gourmet in both presentation, and flavor! I sampled from friends the Rib Eye, Ceasar Salad and the Tuna dish. We wrapped up the night with their specialty donuts and coffee drinks from the bar! Reservations are required, we were seated around 8pm and were one of the last tables to leave! They have two outdoor patio & bar areas for warmer weather. A fire pit was lit and there’s a few Igloos by reservation only. I’d highly recommend for a special occasion! Beautiful place with excellent service! The food was amazing!

5 star review  The food and drink are excellent, the decor is comfortably New England. Starting with a wide selection of wines and cocktails, we had a selection of reds and a maple walnut bitters Manhattan, all of which were excellent.. we then moved on to the charcuterie, a rich and delicious clam chowder with bacon, and finally our main dishes: The roasted duck, salmon, and tuna plates. The flavors were rich, the portions generous, and we enjoyed our meal immensely. The bar was crowded, and although the restaurant was seated to capacity, the tables felt cozy rather than crowded. The decor is rough hewn beams, and overall we enjoyed our experience immensely.

5 star review  If you find yourself in Plymouth, go here. The food, the atmosphere, the staff are amazing. This is farm to table and the most unique and delicious food. In the summer the outdoor dining and outdoor bar are the places to be. Boozy brunch drinks are amazing from the blood Mary to the adult iced coffee you can’t go wrong. Martinis and hard drinks are top notch. Their clam chowder is a must. One of if not THE best I’ve ever had. We love Rye!
