Come enjoy our cozy & quaint, 1700’s tavern with very large outdoor dining spaces. We take pride in sourcing our meats and produce from local farmer’s markets & growers in our community, as well as using local craft beer brewers & spirits to produce our hand crafted cocktails.
LOCALLY INSPIRED DISHES
We change our menu frequently and create dishes that showcase fruits and vegetables that are fresh and in season. The Rye Garden provides us with produce that is harvested just steps away from the restaurant. We also have cultivated long lasting relationships with local farms.

Rye Garden is located 50 feet from the Rye Tavern kitchen. It provides Executive Chef Drew Garneau plenty to work with. Established in 2011, in the Rye Garden we do plenty of succession planting to provide a steady stream of tender greens throughout the growing season. We also grow a variety of cherry tomatoes, herbs, lettuces, peas, carrots. beans, edible flowers and more. You can’t get more fresh and local than that! More than just Farm to Table, you can actually see our farm FROM your table!
hear it from
The outside bar at Rye Tavern is a fun place to sit and people watch. The bar tenders are friendly and attentive while serving not only the bar but also the high tops and Adirondack seats around the bar area. The food is excellent and is served relatively quickly even though the restaurant is very busy. The one minor issue we had was with the consistency of the "blistered shishito" peppers. The small peppers were perfect, the larger peppers needed more time.

My husband and went for our anniversary for brunch. We had the pork belly eggs Benedict, cheesecake stuffed french toast, cheeseburger and chowder. All we're a 10. Clam chowder has a scoop of mashed potato and a whole Belly clam garnish...huh??? For $12 it can't be beat. We returned for dinner because it was so good and had the halibut, wings, oysters and the cheeseburger again. Everything is great! We literally watched a server walk out to the garden to pick fresh herbs. Drinks are amazing, bartender and servers are kind, personable and knowledgeable. This restaurant is an absolute must! Atmosphere is rop notch. Not one complaint.

The food is of the highest quality, cooked expertly and delivered to your table by a knowledge, helpful and very friendly server. And the taste... absolutely delicious. The atmosphere is rustic, clean and the feeling something historic happened there. Highly recommend and can't wait to go back.

One of the best clam chowders around. Amazing offerings and skills from the chef Great place with great atmosphere. Taylor runs a top notch establishment. A wee bit pricey imparted to other places but always worth it.

Fantastic food! The burger was delectable and the crunchy fries on it really shined through. The chicken had a perfect smoke while staying juicy. The Brussels, while pricey, had so much flavor and the miso came out nicely. The ambience was perfect and everyone was so friendly. Dog friendly on the patio

A historical experience for sure! The atmosphere was cozy yet very comfortable and casual. We were met with attentive service and beautiful food. The Chowder was gourmet in both presentation, and flavor! I sampled from friends the Rib Eye, Ceasar Salad and the Tuna dish. We wrapped up the night with their specialty donuts and coffee drinks from the bar! Reservations are required, we were seated around 8pm and were one of the last tables to leave! They have two outdoor patio & bar areas for warmer weather. A fire pit was lit and there’s a few Igloos by reservation only. I’d highly recommend for a special occasion! Beautiful place with excellent service! The food was amazing!
